I recently cleaned a house for a customer who was not satisfied with the company that cleaned their carpet prior to moving in. I asked them exactly what makes you think it's not cleaned properly? The customer stated that along most edges of the walls there was dust, dirt, and a black line. I told this customer that some companies come in and rush through the job without any attention to the edges of the walls. The black was filtration soiling, which has to be cleaned by vacuuming the edges and using a microfiber towel with a neutralizer. This will get out most of the black, but sometimes will only lighten it. Nevertheless, it has been standard practice since opening in 2014 for Toney's Floor Care to pay extra attention to the wall edges. Believe it or not your customers will notice that you care and will call you for repeat business. I know this because several times my customers have said "hey those people in the yellow truck never cleaned the edges like like that" . I always say yea , but we are not like them, we really care about doing a great job the first time. So yes,:) sometimes it does pay to sweat the small stuff.
When it pays to sweat the small stuff!!
