  • The End of a Hot Summer & The Beginning of Real Company Growth

As fall has arrived I have to say that it's about time!. Working through this long hot summer was quite the challenge. My customer base has grown significantly during this time period. I look forward to running my business from more of a admin role from here on out. I had rotator cuff surgery on October 12th and am recovering nicely. I plan on gettting the other arm fixed in December so I'll be down for a while. Fear not Toney's Floor Care will remain open and running during this time. My lead Technician Zach is doing a fine job and I am very gratetful to him. The company growth is going to ramp up from here on out. Enjoy this great November weather and God Bless America!

  • When it pays to sweat the small stuff!!

I recently cleaned a house for a customer who was not satisfied with the company that cleaned their carpet prior to moving in. I asked them exactly what makes you think it's not cleaned properly? The customer stated that along most edges of the walls there was dust, dirt,  and a black line. I told this customer that some companies come in and rush through the job without any attention to the edges of the walls. The black was filtration soiling, which has to be cleaned by vacuuming the edges and using a microfiber towel with a neutralizer. This will get out most of the black, but sometimes will only lighten it. Nevertheless, it has been standard practice since opening in 2014 for Toney's Floor Care to pay extra attention to the wall edges. Believe it or not your customers will notice that you care and will call you for repeat business. I know this because several times my customers have said "hey those people in the yellow truck never cleaned the edges like like that" . I always say yea , but we are not like them, we really care about doing a great job the first time. So yes,:) sometimes it does pay to sweat the small stuff.

  • Sizzling Summer 2015

Wow what a big difference a couple of months make. I am very busy on a daily basis....and It's been so hot for so long now. By the sweat of my brow I dare to  enter these homes of great customers, hoping their AC is working!! I hope this summer will be plentiful for all of us carpet cleaners out there. Going to do a sizzling summer sale very soon.:)

  • Cleancraft Products are the Best!!

Well spring has sprung and the carpet cleaning business is getting busy. I recently got so busy that I ran out of carpet detergent and defoamer. I went to the local janitorial supply to buy enough to get me by. I used the detergent,  but it's not up to the standards of Cleancraft Products. It smelled ok because it had an odor counteractant, but I didn't think it made carpets look as good. You know what they say....when something works, stay with it. Now I'm off to clean some carpet!!~
